Abers received his B.A. from Florida State University in 1977, and his juris doctorate from the University of Miami in 1980. Since 1981, when he joined the firm, he has tried over 150 jury trials. Mr. Abers is admitted to practice before all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
